Adria Catanese

My name is Adria Catanese and I am very pleased to be running for the Brecksville Broadview Heights School Board. I have been a resident of Brecksville for the past 14 years and am deeply invested in the future of our district and maintaining our excellent reputation.
 

I chose to move to Brecksville specifically to enroll my daughters in the BBH City School District - as the reputation of excellence in education was a top priority for us!  

 

In addition to raising my two terrific daughters, I have enjoyed a 34-year career in engineering and business management.

 

Throughout my career, I have held management positions in Industrial Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Continuous Improvement. In these positions, I have been responsible for not only overseeing employees, but large-scale projects and complex budgets. I pride myself on helping my teams succeed, staying on budget and managing large projects, simultaneously. 

 

I attend school board meetings as often as I can and I stay informed regarding news and issues in the district. Long after my youngest daughter will graduate, my passion for the city and school system will remain.
